Late at night in a forest… a sharp sound of a knife grinding to a wood could be heard…
it was so sharp that the sound it self feels like its beside you… even though…
the sound feels afar… it feels like its behind you….
the sound kept on grinding… closer to where you stand…
it feels closer than before… why is it only the knife that made sounds…
suddenly it became quiet…
i can hear something falling… sounds like air rushing to my ear… it feels light…
ah… it stopped… what is… this..? it feels like grass on my cheeks… smells like iron in my nose…
I can see me…
my hand is red…
smells like…. blood…
my hand is numb….
your hand is numb….
my hand is cold….
yours too…
ah…
so that’s what it was…
you… were me…
and i… was you…
i see you…
but you cannot…
its… cold…
its… dark…

the lost game
The Lost Game
There was once a legend. A legend of a mysterious game. It was said to be a cursed game. The game itself was a normal puzzle game. But during its development, many strange things happened to the developer. Such as misplaced codes that triggers a weird glitch to the game… or a weird sound amidst the BGM… and other weird things. The idea of the game was that, in order to save a person from dying of various circumstances, you need to finish the puzzle as fast as you can, or else the “person” will die.
After the game was released. For unknown reasons many deaths were happening. The most uncanny thing about this, is the fact that… the cause of the “deaths” were the same “settings” as in the game. The “players” who played the game testified that for some wierd coincidence… the names of the people that they were trying to save in the game… was the same as the people who were found dead in the same “settings”.
The developers denied the suspicious rumors that was going around that they were a group of demons and such.
After many bad rumors spreading about the devs. The company went bankrupt. And the developers whereabouts were buried in the dark.
And such the game itself was only distributed in a meager number. So there is limited copies of it.
And the game is now an urban legend because of the scarce evidence of its existence.

Until now…
Deaths are being found in a massive amount of numbers…
The government and the police are investigating the case with much prudence.
Only to find that this cases were the exact same thing that was happening 40 years ago…
But
The people does not know. That there is something darker behind all of these deaths.
Someone stumbled upon the once forgotten game…
This person knew what this game could do… since this person was deep within the internet most of the time… but this person was perplexed when it sees what was different in this game…
The option “Insert name” on the character…
And this is not the only person who got their hands on the game…
For unknown reasons people who got hold of this game grew in numbers…
And thus it was the beginning of a tragedy…
That took half of the population’s lives…
This game was titled “Near Death”
